About Me

One of the most enjoyable moments of my profession is knowing that you have made a difference in someone’s life.

I have the advantage of saying to my clients,  “I understand your grief” or “I know how debilitating a panic attack can be because I have quit a job due to anxiety.”  I know because I have experienced these issues myself.

Working through grief, anxiety and depression, I knew that if I could find a way to managed my own issues through incredibly difficult times then I knew with both my lived and academic experience I could help others do the same.

I always knew that helping people was what I wanted to do.  My goal is to make a difference in your life.

When I finished my Diploma in Counselling, a Cert IV in Telephone Crisis Counselling,I then decided to do a Degree in Social Work.  I am now doing a Cert III in Aged Care to provide extended care for the elderly.

I have decided to focus on email counselling.   I am in constant contact with counsellors both nationally and internationally to keep up with ever growing changes to online counselling.  Together with my experience in both internet and telephone communication, I have learned how to counsel without relying on visual communication.

As an Allied Health Professional, my education is ongoing and I am slowly paving my way to a PhD.  As a sole practitioner, my reputation has been built upon remaining true to my clients and continuously offering a personalized service tailored to each client.  As one size does not fit all.

As an NDIS  Provider, I am able to offer counselling claimable through your NDIS package.
